Run The Hook 5K/10K – Highlands, NJ 2026

The 11th Annual Run The Hook 5K/10K returns to Sandy Hook National Park, NJ on May 10th, 2026 in support of local non-profit Clean Ocean Action . All runners receive a commemorative pint glass as they cross the finish line in addition to a t-shirt, closed course on Sandy Hook National Park, and chip timed results. National Parks Service has imposed a cap on attendance again this year. Registration will be open to 600 runners only. Please register early if you'd like to participate and support Clean Ocean Action. Priority Registration will open Tuesday, February 17th at 10:00 AM until Thursday, February 19th at 9:59 AM. This is an exclusive registration period for all 2024 and 2025 participants to sign up at a discount for themselves and up to three friends. Login to Runsignup using the name and email used to register previously to access the tickets. Only the main ticket buyer needs to have registered previously, however the additional friends need to be registered at the same time. Ge
