Malverne 5K Run for Education – Malverne, NY 2026

Malverne 5K Run-Walk The Malverne 5K run-walk for education is organized by the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation (MEFF). The net proceeds of the 5K run go to the MEFF, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth programs within the Malverne school district. The packet pickup and day-of-run registration take place at Malverne High School, starting at 7:30 a.m. (school located east of Ocean Ave.) . The main event, the 5K run, is preceded by a fun run (200 meters) for children aged 10 and under. The fun run starts at 8:30. The start of the kids run is at the intersection of Wicks Ln and N Cambridge Street. Kids (and their parents) run on Wicks Ln toward the start line of the 5K run at H.T. Herber school. 5K Run Course Malverne 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 at Wicks Lane next to the H.T. Herber Middle School gym (75 Ocean Ave). The 5K course winds through Malverne, Lynbrook, and Lakeview.
