The museum is open to the public Thursdays-Sundays and charges no admission. Numerous aircraft and historical exhibits are on display, both indoors and outdoors. Volunteer docents are available to provide tours and explain the rich aviation history of Chico and Northern California. RUN THE RUNWAY! is a timed mile and 5K for runners, joggers, and walkers which takes place on Runway 31R at the Chico Regional Airport. This is a rare and unique opportunity to run on an actual aircraft runway. Overall and age group medals will be awarded.
