WHAT North Carolina Blueberry Festival 5K Run The NC Blueberry Festival 5K kicks of a full Saturday of events during the 23rd Annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival featuring live music, craft vendors, a car and truck show, a pie-eating contest, and of course, lots of fresh blueberries. Runners experience the picturesque small-town charm of historic downtown Burgaw during the town's premier event of the year. The festival also hosts a non-competitive bicycle ride on Saturday morning - the Tour de Blueberry. There's nothing like finishing a brisk run or ride with some fresh, locally grown blueberries!
