The Mandan Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4984 proudly presents the return of the Through the Smoke Road Race. The race will kick off at the Mandan Firefighters Training Grounds 629 24th Ave. SE Mandan, ND and wind through the Lakewood area of Mandan on June 6th at 09:00. Events include a family-friendly 5K (dogs, and strollers welcome), a competitive 5K and 10K, and a kids’ half-mile race for ages 10 and under. All proceeds benefit the Mandan Firefighters by funding new fitness equipment and advanced training opportunities with leaders from across the United States. Access to proper fitness equipment and high-quality training supports both physical performance and mental resilience, helping firefighters manage stress, build confidence, and maintain long-term well-being.
