You are invited to join Buckeye students, families, businesses, and community members for a family-focused event that includes a 5k race and 1-mile fun run or walk on Saturday, May 9th, at the Buckeye Track and Soccer Complex located behind the elementary buildings at Buckeye Local Schools, 3044 Columbia Road in Medina. Check-in at the registration table starts at 8:30 AM. The race begins at 9:30 AM followed by the 1 mile fun run or walk. This event will take place in rain or shine. Online registration for each attendee is required. A t-shirt for each attendee will be included (not guaranteed if registration is after April 24th) along with access to any activities, food, and beverages provided at the event. All 5K participants will receive a finisher medal. Mr. Craig Bailey, the former superintendent of Buckeye Local Schools, was the founder of the Buckeye Education Foundation in 2003.
