Jefferson County Humane Society 5K Walk/Run – Wintersville, OH 2026

This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The race course is challenging, but fun when you bring your best friend along. This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk! Walkers will have a start time of 8:00 PM, and the runners will follow with a start time of 8:15 PM. Registration on the day of the event will open at 7:30 pm. Free T-shirt with registry only until June 6th. Packet pickup will be held on race day from 7:00 pm to the start of the race. Can’t make it to the walk/run, but want to help out? Sponsor a dog in the shelter to get to go for a walk/run during the event! Go to the donate button at the top of the page to donate. You can also purchase a luminary in honor of, or in memory of, a special pet or a person. The luminaries will have the pet or person's name on them, and they will light the finish line of the course.
