Online registration ends on Saturday, Sept. 20 at noon. Day of registration, 5k - $45; 10k - $50. Checks or via your phone with QR code. The Silverton Runners Club and Oktoberfest are again teaming up to host the Oktoberfest 5k and 10 races. The races have a little something for every type of runner. Track runner? The start and finish is on the Kennedy High School track. Road runner? The course meanders through the hamlet of Mt. Angel. Trail runner? Parts of the course are on gravel. Like it flat? It mostly is. Like hills? We have a couple. Like a good party after? Mt. Angel Oktoberfest! Every finisher will receive a pint glass and a ticket for a complimentary beer at the Oktoberfest.
