Course details: Swim: (for the triathlon) The swim will be held in an outdoor pool with lifeguards. Transition Area : (for both tri & du) There will be an area for the competitors to put their bikes, shoes, helmets, etc., called “the transition area”. After finishing the swim, (or 1st run for the duathletes) the kids will come into the transition area to put on their biking gear, get their bikes and start the bike portion of the race. Packet pick-up details will also be included in that email…stay tuned 😊 RACE DAY ARRIVAL & START TIMES Suggested arrival time: 6:00-6:30 am Transition closes: 7:30 am Pre-race talk (calming encouragement by Scoogie) 7:30 am National Anthem: 7:48 am Triathletes & duathletes go to staging area and get ready to start (Age group will be the child’s age ON RACE DAY) Rolling start begins: (Older triathletes & duathletes start first) 8:00 am (It will be a rolling start with the 15-year old's starting first) 😊 Let the after party celebration begin...
