SHS XC Glow The Distance – New Castle, PA 2026

Join us for the SHS XC “Glow the Distance” Fun Run on June 13, 2026! This is an evening run designed by two of the junior class athletes of Shenango’s Cross Country team. This run is to promote a healthy lifestyle, community bonding, and the love of our township. The run is comparable to a 5K, but will be a fun path of our township, highlighting our high school and our township park. Glow the Distance will first include a Kids Run, which will be open to children ages 10 and under. Every participant in this race will win a medal upon completion of the run! Along with the children, there will be 7 additional age categories (11-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+) that will run as one group, but will be broken into these groupings for the top 3 runners of each age category to earn medals.
