Thanksgiving Day Race to Be Thankful – Greenwood, SC 2026

Come join us for a fun 5K run/walk through the beautiful Gatewood neighborhood on Thanksgiving Day starting at 8am! Online Registration ends Monday 11/23 at 6pm!!!! Kids under 10 are free! Sign up early for the lower cost of $25. We will have sign up available on race day at the start beginning at 7 am for $30. Please bring cash or check. This race features stunning autumn views passing the peaceful ponds and magnificent woods of Gatewood subdivision. The course is paved and rolling in terrain with minimal traffic. All abilities and ages are welcome. Prizes will be given to the overall male and female runners, overall masters male and female winner and to age group winners in 10 year increments. We offer terrific post race goodies for breakfast including homemade pumpkin bread, hot coffee and hot chocolate.
