Challenge yourself at our third-annual Run Duck Run Duathlon! This run-paddle-run 10K route features a ~1.5-mile run on a rubber greenway followed by a ~2-mile paddle on the scenic Duck River and finishing strong with a ~2.5-mile trail run along the Duck River Trail. You can expect a variety of running terrain including grass, rubberized greenway, pavement, and trail! All skill levels are welcome. Must be proficient at kayaking on Class 1 water. Life Jackets are required. Aid stations will be placed at each river access for participants before and after paddling. All participants will receive event swag including t-shirt, finisher medal, post-race drink, and snack! Start/Finish Location: Henry Horton State Park at Shelter 4 There is a 3-hour time limit on the course with rangers conducting a sweep to ensure everyone leaves the event safely.
