Open to the entire community, the 15th Annual UTEP Miner Dash (5K Run/3K Walk) and Family Fitness Fiesta is organized by the Department of Kinesiology and brings awareness to the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The 5K Run and 3K Walk routes traverse the beautiful UTEP campus with its distinctive Bhutanese-styled architecture. Runners, walkers and people in wheelchairs of all ages can participate. Proceeds from the event benefit the ongoing programs developed by the UTEP Kinesiology Department, among others.
