Cutlass Challenge Last Person Standing – McKinney, TX 2026

Join The Great Root Movement at Erwin Park — Cutlass Challenge Last Person Standing event. The format is simple: one 4-mile loop every hour, on the hour. Keep showing up. Last one moving wins. Entry is $45 plus a $1 ante for every loop you start. The pot grows with every loop — and the last person standing takes it all. Cutlass is the flattest and fastest section of Erwin Park with only about 20 feet of gain per loop. This isn't about speed. It's about who refuses to stop. A whiteboard will be on-site at the start — runners check in and log each completed loop as they come through. As a bonus, we'll be giving away a few free race entries to our October Love Never Ends Trail Run and Trailhead running Supply has donated 2-$25 gift cards to the top male and female winners! Our friend Katie Durst will be onsite as our photographer. Water, pickle juice, ice, and some snacks will be provided on-site. Runners are responsible for their own fuel and nutrition.
