The Figgy Kids Triathlon is named after everyone's favorite eco-friendly mascot, Figgy the Squirrel ! This beginner-friendly race is perfect for newbies and more experienced youth triathletes too—it's a great summer challenge with a side of outdoor fun. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ The Course Set in the scenic Stevenson Park , racers will dash through shaded trails lined with majestic oak trees and native Texas plants. You’ll swim in the pool, pedal past cheering volunteers, and run under a canopy of oaks. Two Waves of Racing Fun: We have two USAT age-based divisions, with appropriately sized courses for every level of racer: 🟢 Council Wave (Ages 6–10) 100-yard pool swim 2.8-mile bike 0.6-mile run 🔵 Mayor’s Wave (Ages 11–16) 200-yard pool swim 4.4-mile bike 1.5-mile run Whether your athlete is a seasoned triathlete or is just getting started, the Figgy Kids
