ROAD OR TRAIL?? WHICH PATH WILL YOU PICK? We are hereby declaring June 5th as "San Antonio Running Day"! Join us for the San Antonio Run Day 5K , a celebration of Global Running Day and our local running community! Held in the heart of San Antonio at McAllister Park (Pavilion #5), this race brings runners of all levels together, whether you love the road or the dirt, to embrace the joy of running and the spirit of unity. As a continuation of the energy from Global Run Day on June 2rd, the San Antonio Run Day 5K is more than just a race—it's a tribute to the runners, running groups, and fitness enthusiasts that make our city thrive. Whether you're a seasoned runner or taking your first steps, this event welcomes everyone to lace up and share in the passion for running. Presented by iRun , San Antonio's local running store! Mother Nature may have rained on our trails but we are not going to give up! We are bringing the trail option back for 2027! Like the smooth, fast feel of the road? Register for the road 5k. If you prefer the rugged rocks and roots of the dirt, register for the trail 5k! Prizes will be awarded to the top male/female overall and masters for road and for trail. Age Group Awards: Age group awards will be given to the first and second place male and female in 10 year increments up to the 70+ category. Awards will be posted by 8:30am so you can collect your award at the iRun tent before you leave. We don't want to interrupt your post race fun so, we will not have an awards ceremony, just grab you award and enjoy your day! Highlights of the Event: Local Love : Celebrate San Antonio's running culture with friends, family, and fellow runners. Community Vibes : Connect with local running groups, organizations, & businesses that inspire and support the sport in our city. Fun for All : Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with finisher medals for all in person participants, post-race festivities, music, and more! Be sure to stop by all of our local vendor's tents as we highlight local businesses owned by local runners in our community! We are proud to name Street2Feet as our beneficiary! Street2Feet implements movement, community, and service as medicine with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder and/or mental health. They are a 6-day-a-week program providing walking/running, yoga, Qigong, nutrition education, & other forms of holistic wellness. Street2Feet aims to remove the barriers to wellness by providing accessible wellness opportunities and provides the athletic gear so that participants can comfortably and confidently engage in movement. Mark your calendar and be a part of the San Antonio Run Day 5K—because running is better together! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Cut off for guaranteed singlet sizes is May 15th. Singlets are a gender specific cut. Kids 1k participants do not get a shirt. There will be no shirt, medal or prize pick up after race day. You must pick up these things by 10:30am race day. Packet pick up: iRun Broadway on Thursday, June 3th, from 12pm-6:45pm and Friday, June 4th, from 10am-4pm. Race Site (McAllister Park Pavilion #5) on race day from 6:15am-7:15am. Road 5k Course (Updated) | Trail 5k Course You can pick up bibs for friends and family, if needed. Post race, be sure to check out our fabulous vendors!
