Entry to the Tejas Dirt Festival ranges from $10 to $150 depending on your chosen distance. Held in Rock Springs, Texas on May 8, 2026, this trail running event offers five racing options: 4 miles, 5 miles, 10 miles, 20 miles, and 40 miles. The festival takes place at 6424 Hackberry Road with races beginning at 6:00 AM. Whether you're testing a shorter distance or committing to an ultramarathon effort, you'll find an option suited to your training phase and goals. The early start time gives you the advantage of cooler morning conditions for tackling the Texas terrain.

Unfortunately due to schedule conflicts, this race has been cancelled for this year. All registered runners will be contacted for next steps. Previously known as the J&J, this trail racing event of the year is now on Labor Day weekend; and is our pinnacle of off road racing and fun. Held at the adventure capital of Texas, Camp Eagle, only a couple hours from San Antonio, a few hours from Austin, and well worth a longer drive or flight from anywhere, this event is where a huge chunk of Tejas Trails history took place and is very special to all of us who have raced here. Now we are taking it to a whole new level. This 3 day festival will include trail running races, rucking races, mountain bike races, biathlon races, and a handful of extra fun contests in the water and the sky, which will result in this being one of the biggest trail sports bashes of the year.
