IMPORTANT LOCATION CHANGE - RACE MOVED TO RANDOM ROW BREWING COMPANY (608 Preston Ave # A, Charlottesville, VA 22903) Join Partners in Health Engage at UVA to raise money for Tuberculosis in Sierra Leone! Tuberculosis is a curable disease, yet every year millions of people die worldwide because they do not have access to treatment. In particular, Sierra Leone has been subject to a history of exploitation, leading to poor health outcomes to this day. Our club has pledged to raise $4500 this year to support PIH's tuberculosis programs in Sierra Leone. This will assist Partners in Health in supplying treatment courses for TB, chest x-rays for diagnosis, nutritional support for patients, among other things. If you are on board, come run (or jog, wog, or walk!) with us on 4/4 at 9 AM. We have tons of prizes for top finishers and raffle winners from local businesses, so we hope you will join us for a morning of fun fighting TB! ALL proceeds from this race will go to Partners in Health. Race
