Out Wayne Kids Fun Run – Wayne, WV 2026

Out Wayne's First Annual Kids Fun Run! Inspired largely by the Kids Running Series put on by Robert's Running, we thought it would be fun to have a race series closer to home for our kids! As this is our first year, a whole series of races seemed a bit ambitious, so we are starting with one day of races for kids age 3-12. The races will be at the Wayne High School Track on Sunday, May 31st, starting at 2PM. 3 and 4 year olds will run 50 yards. 5-6 year olds will run 100 yards. 7-9 year olds will run 200 meters. 10-12 year olds will run 400 meters (one lap, or 1/4 a mile) The last day to register is May 17th. Because we also wanted to do something good with this, this year we will be accepting donations on site for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We will have water, music, and finishing medals for all participants. We will have tee shirts available to order. We wanted this event to be free, but you do have the option to order a shirt.
