The Durand Fire Department strives to ensure they are a well prepared and progressive emergency response organization for fire and rescue services in our community. The 5th Annual DFD FIRE 5 is a FUN, non-timed 5k + run/walk fundraiser. The 5K will be the kickoff event to the Durand Fire Department Dinner and Dance Fundraiser, held annually the 3rd weekend in May. Our event takes place on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 and is a great way to launch your 5k season. The race will start promptly at 11am. Check in and same day sign up will start at 10am @ the Durand Fire Hall. Feeling competitive? WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! The top 3 runners will receive a free chicken dinner to be redeemed anytime throughout the DFD Dinner and Dance Fundraiser (charcoal chicken will be served 12pm-7pm or until gone).
