Kinlichee is the hometown community of Miss Navajo 2025-26, Camille J Uentillie. As part of promoting physical fitness, running is a strong teaching instilled on the Dine teachings and stories. Miss Navajo Nation’s Fluted Rock’s Half and Full Marathon welcomes all participants to highlight Hózhó Naasha' Dooleeł, focusing on one’s individual path. In certain areas of Kinlichee’s landscape, there’s the Navajo Sandstone that surrounds small canyons. Among those walls and on top of ridges of the canyon, there are anasazi homes built by our anasazi beings long before our arrival. Today, some of Anasazi homes still remain and are unbothered.
