***THIS IS THE OCTOBER 2026 RACE*** Join us on Saturday October 10th, 2026, for the 4th race in our 2026 Military Birthday Series, as we run and walk in celebration of the birthday (10/13/1775) of the United States Navy. Races for the other branches of service will follow throughout 2026 in order of their birthdays (Army/Coast Guard/Air Force/Navy/USMC/Space Force). This is no ordinary virtual race. It's a unique "live virtual" racing event, with thousands of runners and walkers who have already experienced and love our "live virtual" race format. Among other things, there is a scheduled race date and start time (Saturday October 10th, 2026 at 8am Eastern time USA), a virtual check in and start via text or Facebook live-stream on race day morning, timekeeping (runners will provide screenshots or pictures of their chosen method of time and distance keeping), a private and active Facebook group dedicated to our "live virtual" runners and walkers, and custom engraving on the back of the m
