Race Overview Join the movement that's taken over the racing world! A 2 mile kayak course + 3.5 mile trail run in central Iowa's newest park located just off I-80, just 20 minutes east of Des Moines near Colfax, IA. You can do both sports or focus on one and get a partner to do the other! We can help you find a partner as well. Pricing Information Early Bird (4/1/2026 - 8/31/2026) - $45 solo or $35 as a team member. Run only is $25. Procrastinator (9/1/2026 - 9/13/2026) - $50 solo or $40 as a team member. Run only is $30. Must register by 9/5 to be guaranteed a t-shirt Please fill out a registration for each participant if you are doing a relay. The Goods T-shirt - Show off your hard work to all your friends and family every time you wear this one-of-a-kind shirt Race Bib - all finishers will get a race bib to show. Hang it on your wall to show off your training and finisher status! Breakfast & After Race Snacks - Pre-race bottled water, bananas, and granola bars, and more! Sponsor Swag - We are still working on this but expect some swag Free Photos - We'll have a photographer onsite and allow you to download all photos for free after the race. Trophies & Medals - We'll have trophies to hand out for our age group winners and medals for 2nd/3rd place. Packet pickup will be the morning of 9/13 @ 6:30-7:30 AM at the park office. You must wear a visible bib during the race. Racer meeting will be at 8 AM. Race to start @ 8:15 AM. Water will be available on the running course. Finishers should be able to to finish in 2 hours, 15 minutes by 10:30 AM, which will be a walk & easy paddle pace. Awards will start at 10:15 AM. Special medals will be given to the top male/female in the following categories: 5-19 yr, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+. Relay awards will also be given depending on number of teams.
