It is our mission to assist in providing some of the necessary funds to missionaries across the globe and locally in their work to take God's love and salvations to others. Missionaries like Matt and April, from Shreveport, are serving in Ecuador. For several years, they have served in the calling to change lives toward Jesus through a soccer program. God has done amazing things through a soccer ball and programs Matt and April have built. Missionaries like Jacob and Amanda, who left Shreveport to start a church in Boston. Today, Valley Church is growing in members and staff through the work Jacob and Amanda started. This is what the SGBC Mission Race is all about. Missionaries! This event is open to RUNNERS and WALKERS. 10K participants must be able to complete the 10k course within 1.5 hour time limit.
