On June 15, 2026, Bear Creek Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado will host a skills clinic for beginner cyclists. Led by instructor Stacy, this clinic is designed to help new riders build foundational cycling skills. The event begins at 6:00 PM and costs just $15 to enter, making it an affordable option for athletes looking to develop their abilities in a structured setting. Bear Creek Park provides the venue for this hands-on training session, offering a practical opportunity for beginners to work with an experienced coach and improve their technique before tackling longer rides or races.

Location: Bear Creek Parking: Meet in first gravel parking lot off of Argus Blvd This clinic is targeted to beginners and will be led by professional MTB coach and WMBA Sponsor MTB with Stacy ! This is a great opportunity to get a professional clinic for a nominal fee. Our skills clinics are a time to learn and practice mountain bike skills in a controlled environment. You can expect to ride primarily on grass, with lots of skills and drills. Please check in by 5:45 to find your group. Skill clinics are only available for WMBA members and do require an additional $15 sign up fee. If this event has to be cancelled for any reason, all participants will be emailed and we will post the notification on Facebook by 4:30 p.m. Refunds will be issued to all participants. Please note, if you need to cancel your spot, you will be eligible for refund up until 2 days prior to the clinic. If you need to cancel within 2 days of the clinic, refunds will not be issued (unless the event is cancelled). Don't forget to bring: A mountain bike in reliable and safe condition A helmet Water, snacks, sunscreen
