This year, we’ve reimagined Trail-A-Thon as a one-week challenge leading up to National Trails Day (June 6), designed to spark energy, visibility, and momentum around a shared outdoor experience. The shorter length makes it easier to stay involved, rally supporters, and celebrate our collective impact—all while raising essential funds for the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and the vital work we do. Whether you're a hiker, runner, biker, or neighborhood stroller, Trail-A-Thon is for YOU. Set your own mileage goal and raise funds* for the trail lands you love! Log your miles anywhere—on your favorite forest path, city streets, or even a treadmill. Trail-A-Thon is a celebration of the trails we love—and a reminder of what it takes to protect them. Volunteers lead the way, but they depend on training, tools, and support from Trail Conference staff.
