The Delightful Run for Women takes place on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at 9 a.m. in Downtown Albany at West Capitol Park. The event offers three distance options: a 1-mile run, a 1.86-mile run, and a 5K. Entry fees range from free to $55. Athletes traveling to Albany for this women's running event will find the downtown venue centrally located, making it accessible for those staying in the area. The 49th edition of the world-renowned Delightful® Run for Women presented by Sara Lee® Delightful® Bread will take place in two formats this year. You can choose to participate either in person in downtown Albany on Saturday June 5, 2027 at 9am or virtually (choosing a date between 5/31/27 and 6/6/27 on a course you pick). Our event weekend includes the Health and Fitness Expo, free Kids Runs, the Capital Kids 3K, and of course the amazing 5k. Join us as we celebrate 49 years of women's running.
