The Brian Demchak Hope Challenge is a fundraiser that you participate in at your convenience with people or pets you enjoy while filling in the gaps with hope for patients and employees at St. Margaret. No crowds, no traffic, no parking, no restroom lines, no 6:00 am alarm. Choose a fitness challenge that works with your routine anytime from May 10 through May 16, 2026. Run, walk, or bike a 5k, challenge yourself to 10 push-ups a day, beat your friends in a pickleball match, you choose! Brian Demchak loved participating in a 5k, and he loved doing it with someone he loved - his mom. Get active and get together to honor Brian and support patients in crisis at UPMC St. Margaret. The first 200 participants will receive a race shirt and a finisher's medal. Register by Friday, April 10 to ensure your preferred t-shirt size.
