Bluffton Firefighter Foundation 9/11 25th Anniversary Memorial 5K Run/Walk Saturday, September 12, 2026 | Bluffton, SC Run for those who run toward danger. On September 12, 2026, the Bluffton community will come together to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11 and support the firefighters who continue to answer the call every single day. This isn’t just a race. It’s a tribute. A remembrance. A commitment to the people who protect our community when life is at its worst. Hosted by the Bluffton Firefighter Foundation in partnership with Palmetto Running Company, this inaugural Memorial 5K will raise funds for the Firefighter Emergency Fund — providing direct support to local firefighters and their families during times of injury, illness, and unexpected hardship. Because emergencies don’t only happen on the clock. Last year, the Foundation helped support one of Bluffton’s own during a serious medical crisis, covering essential household expenses while he focused on recovery. Today,
