Train to run the Capital City 5 Mile Race! This program, led by Club Oly members, is a 15-week program designed for new runners, runners returning to running after a break, and those who have NO running experience. Whether you want to meet your goal of completing a five mile race or running your strongest five mile race, we will help you reach your goal. (Before starting any training program, please consult your physician.) Using the run/walk method, we will start with 30 minutes of walking and jogging just 3 times a week. Join us Saturday, January 31 @ 9 am at Briggs YMCA for a kickoff meeting. Training will begin the following Monday February 2 at Marathon Park at 6 pm. Training Schedule: During the program we will meet during the week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at Marathon Park and on Saturdays at Briggs YMCA at 8:30 am. Registration fee is $65.00 which also includes a running shirt and full year Club Oly membership in addition to the 15 week training program. The fee does
