The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance Rivkin Family SummeRun was started by Dr. Saul Rivkin, founder of the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research, and his five daughters after the loss of his wife and the girls' mother, Marsha Rivkin. The Rivkin organization is now part of OCRA, and we’re proud to continue this beloved event, which has become one of the largest private funders of ovarian cancer research in the country. Because of the hard work of SummeRun Team Captains and participants and many other generous donors, SummeRun has raised more than $10M for ovarian cancer research. Funds raised through the SummeRun will benefit OCRA’s research programs, including the Rivkin Pilot Grants. OCRA is proud to continue the Rivkin Center’s extraordinary legacy of hope, determination, and relentless pursuit of a cure.
