Longmire Days 5K and Fun Run takes place at Prosinski Park in Buffalo, Wyoming on July 17, 2026. The event offers two distance options: a 1-mile run and a 5K. The race starts at 8:30 AM, with entry fees ranging from $50 to $75. If you're traveling to the area for the event, note that virtual participation is available as an alternative to racing on-site. This flexibility allows you to complete your chosen distance from another location if needed.

Help celebrate Longmire Days with the annual 5K race (and one mile fun run/walk) through Absaroka County (Buffalo, Wyoming)!!! Each in-person participant of the 5K race and one mile fun run/walk will receive a special edition finishers medal, t-shirt, and a free Rainier beer* at the end of the race signed by Craig Johnson. Each virtual participant will receive a virtual race badge to post all over your social media accounts for the ultimate bragging rights! Children 12 and under can participate for free with a paying adult, but will have no race bib or receive any of the goodies. How can you beat that? Boy Howdy!! On-site, same-day registration is available from 7:00 - 8:15 am for an additional fee. Please note: registrations received after June 18, 2026 will not be guaranteed a t shirt. SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT GUARANTEED A SHIRT OR A MEDAL. But you will get the beer can signed by Craig! Race packet pickup at the start line the day of the event. Please arrive 30-45 mins prior to start time. In 2016 and 2019 Robert Taylor shot the starting gun. Who knows what will happen in 2026! Follow and like us on Facebook ! *must be 21+
