Celebrate Ryan’s Run/Walk on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 Saturday, December 5, 2026 @ 8 AM EVENT DETAILS We're thrilled to invite you to the Annual Ryan’s Run/Walk on Saturday, Dec. 5th. Ryan's Run is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for individuals living with Sickle Cell disease. This event is not just about running; it’s about coming together as a community to support a vital cause and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this challenging condition. The race will begin at 8 a.m. and registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Walkers are not timed. Registration Fees: Runners & Walkers - 1 Mile (walker and runners will pay the same price but we still will only time the runners.) Ages 1-14 - Now thru Oct. 16th - $30 Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th - $35 Ages 15+ - Now thru Oct. 16th - $35 Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th - $40 Runners & Walkers - 5K (walker and runners will pay the same price but we still will only time the runners.) Ages 1-14 - Now thru Oct. 16th - $35 Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th - $40 Ages 15+ - Now thru Oct. 16th - $40 Oct. 17th - Dec. 5th - $45 Virtual Race - Now till Dec. 5th - $35 Non-Participating (Unable to attend but would like to donate click here .) Race Routes: This year’s Ryan’s Run will feature a scenic route along the Mississippi River levee in downtown Baton Rouge. The race will start and finish on the Levee Terraces at the Levee Green near the USS KIDD. Participants will travel along the levee, turn around near W. McKinley Street, and make their way back toward the Levee Green for the finish. Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time): Participants will be able to pick up race packages on Friday, December 4, 2026. More details to come closer to race day. Race packets not picked up on Friday will be available at the registration table on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. Registration will be available on race day. Please bring cash or checks made out to the Sickle Cell Association of South Louisiana.
