The 7th Annual Runteenth Fun Run starts at 6:00 PM on June 19, 2026, giving travelers flexibility to arrive in Cleveland on race day without early-morning pressure. The event is free to enter and features a single 3.12-mile running distance, held at 2407 Lorain Ave. This modest distance works well as a tune-up run or casual evening outing during your race weekend. Since there's no entry fee, you can test the route or pace without financial commitment. Plan to arrive with enough time to locate parking near the venue and get acclimated before the evening start, which also means you'll have the full day to explore Cleveland's accommodations and grab dinner afterward if needed.

On Juneteenth we celebrate diversity and inclusion in running with our 7th Annual "Runteenth" Fun Run! Join us and "Courtney Covers Cleveland", on Friday June 19th, Juneteenth, as we celebrate Black runners with a fun run/walk in Cleveland, Ohio and EVERYONE IS INVITED. THIS IS NOT JUST A RUN FOR BLACK RUNNERS…BUT IT IS A RUN TO CELEBRATE OUR BLACK RUNNING COMMUNITY! Over the last 6 years, we have seen some amazing increases in the number of Black runners, run clubs, etc., and we couldn’t be more pleased…but let’s continue to grow those numbers! We STILL want to see more Black runners with run clubs in our area, and we want to see more Black runners at the large running events. The day will also highlight several black-owned businesses in the area, as we will have then set up vendor stations. We will meet at 6pm in the courtyard of Intro Cleveland (2407 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44113), take off on our fun run/walk at 6:30pm, and return to the courtyard for raffles, giveaways, and a dance party. See you there!
