This race was the longtime YMCA 5 miler that changed it's name to the Henlopen 5 miler and then to the current Seashore 5 miler. The 9th event in the popular Seashore Strider Championship Series, this year's Seashore 5 miler will be held "live". The Seashore 5 miler is the 2nd of two five milers in the series. The Seashore 5 miler is a great event raising money local charities in the Cape Region. RACE LOCATION GROVE PARK IN REHOBOTH. Daily Entrance Fee's may be in effect at Cape Henlopen State Park if you plan to watch from Gordons Pond. Please be prepared. The Entrance Fee to the park has no tie to the event. The event is separate, so you may be charged as you enter the park without a State of DE pass. FYI...State Parks in DE are beautiful- it would benefit you financially to buy an annual pass.
