READY, SET, TRI!! 🏆 Are you looking for something that is challenging, competitive, fun, and thrilling? Check out Worthington YMCA’s FIRST EVER Y-Tri taking place on August 15th and August 16th . Register before August 1st for a FREE t-shirt with your registration! 🥇 August 15th - KIDS TRIATHLON Join us on August 15th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm for a kid’s triathlon that is not only challenging, but so much fun! This event is open to ALL kids up to 15 years old . ( 15-year-olds can choose to do either the kids tri, adult tri, or BOTH )! Registration is $30 for each athlete competing. Course Distances per Age Group Ages 5-8 🏊‍♀️Swim: 25 yards in pool 🚴 Bike: 1 mile 🏃‍♀️ Run: 1/4 mile Ages 9-11 🏊‍♀️Swim: 75 yards in pool 🚴 Bike: 2 miles 🏃‍♀️ Run: 1/2 mile Ages 12-15 🏊‍♀️Swim: 125 yards in pool 🚴 Bike: 3 miles 🏃‍♀️ Run: 1 mile 🥇 August 16th – SPRINT TRIATHLON and RELAY TEAM If you’re over 15 and looking for a challenge, check out our adult triathlon on August 16th from 8:00-12:00 . Don’t feel like you want to do the full race, that’s OKAY! Create a team of three to choose which event each will perform in. The mandatory morning meeting starts at 7:30am and the race follows with a start time of 8:00 SHARP ! Registration is $60 for an individual and $135 for a team of 3 . Course Distances 🏊‍♀️Swim: 300 yards in pool 🚴 Bike: 12.4 miles 🏃‍♀️ Run: 5K Whether you’re racing for fun or competitively, this is the PERFECT event for all! Come join us in Worthington Minnesota on August 15th and 16th while supporting the future of the YMCA.
