The Paw Print Sprint is turning 10, and we’re celebrating BIG! This year, the Paw Print Sprint is becoming Paw Print Palooza — featuring our signature 5K, half-mile kids fun run, carnival rides, games, trunk-or-treat, and more! All proceeds benefit St. Mark’s Cathedral School. Registration: Early registration through September 30 is $25 ($20 each for families of 4 or more). October 1 - October 23 is $30. Race day registration is $35. Every 5K participant registered by Tuesday, October 6 will receive a racer mesh Paw Print Palooza shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed to registrants who sign up after Tuesday, October 6. No registration needed for the half-mile kids fun run. Just show up, lace up, and have some fun! Kids carnival wristbands and extra t-shirts are available for purchase at stmarksschool.com/palooza. Shirt & Race Packet Pick-Up: Wednesday, October 21, 3:00-5:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Cathedral Ministry Center (908 Rutherford St., 71104) Thursday, October 22 & Friday, October 23, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum (6970 Fern Ave., 71105) Race Day: Saturday, October 24, 7:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Cathedral School (2785 Fairfield Ave., 71104) Awards: Overall male and female finishers in the 5k will win $100 cash. Second place male and female finishers will win $50 cash. Additionally, first place male and female in the age groups below win an award. Age Groups: 10-under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ You won’t want to miss this family fun event! Halloween costumes are encouraged! Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand-pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk-pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation! No dogs are allowed on the course.
