Ron Ledesma Fall Frenzy Memorial Race and Fundraiser – Ron recently passed away and as a tribute to him, the race will be renamed the Ron Ledesma Fall Frenzy Memorial Race. Ron was a pillar of the running community and was always ready to volunteer and help ARR in countless ways throughout the years. He was always smiling and was loved by all. Feel free to do this to in his honor (on the front your shirt)! ** There are two race options - the scenic and more challenging 8 miler or a less frenzy-inducing 4 mile r desert area course with flat canal stretches, some weaving around a couple of urban lakes with enough inclines to give runners an honest workout. The races will be staged from ramadas 9 and 10 in Papago Park. This is a ROAD RACE, not a trail race. While there are some limited canal stretches with packed dirt, the course will be primarily paved, multi-use paths and roads.
