Team Mary: 5k Run/Walk for Autism 2026 — Port Clinton, OH

Team Mary invites you to join us on Sunday, September 20th, for our annual 5K race through the beautiful Gem Beach neighborhood! Mary Lucas is a seventeen year-old girl with autism, but her disability far from defines her. Instead, those close to Mary know a very special girl with an uncanny ability to spread smiles around a room. She inspires us to work toward enriching the lives of children with similar adversities. Proceeds from this race go to help children with special needs and their families through the summer camp program at ARC of Ottawa County. This camp is a vital resource to families as it offers continued enrichment for its participants and a summer care option for caregivers. Over the years Team Mary has also donated funds other causes such as the all inclusive playground at Lakeview Park and a prom party for kids and adults with special needs. Team Mary will continue to find organizations and events that help both special needs kids and their families! The race will begin at park area by Gem Beach, wind through the subdivision, and end back at Gem Beach on Lake Erie for refreshments and award ceremony! Pre-register by September 13th for a free race shirt and a reduced entry fee of $25.
