McKendree University Homecoming & Family Weekend “Rise and Shine” 5K Walk/Run & Kids’ Dash 2026 — Lebanon, IL

Kick off McKendree University's Homecoming & Family Weekend at the Rise and Shine 5K Run/Walk & Kids Dash ! Enjoy a fun course through McKendree University's campus and historic downtown Lebanon—perfect for runners, walkers, and future Bearcats alike. 7 a.m. - 5K Walk/Run starting line will be located at the circle drive in front of the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts. 8:15 a.m. (Approximately) - The Kids' Dash (150 meter) will take place at the conclusion of the 5K Walk/Run around the circle drive in front of the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts. Participants will receive a t-shirt and participant medal! Sign-up by September 26th to be guaranteed a t-shirt and finisher medal! Early packet pickup will be October 6th - 8th from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Hills Clubhouse at McKendree University (1015 Belleville Ave., Lebanon, IL). Day of check-in for race and walk-up participants should go to purple tent in center of the Hett cirlce drive. Parking will be in lot H for this event. Participants will need to walk to starting line/area. Adult 5K $35 McKendree Student Discount 5K $20 Kids Dash $15 Participants will receive a t-shirt and participant medal. Kids' Dash participants will receive a t-shirt, medal and a Raising Cane's certificate. Awards: Awards will be given to the Overall Male Winner, Overall Female Winner, and to the top participant in each ten-year age division (10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, etc.).
