The Boolermaker Kid's Run presented by GPO Federal Credit Union & supported by Hannaford is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026! Children, aged 4-13 , are welcome to run any of our fun, flat courses which range from 1/4 mile up to a full mile. Registration opens on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:00am and will remain open until the race cap is met. The cap for the Boolermaker is a total of 500 children. The races will be held in Utica's FT Proctor Park (use 1938 Rutger Street, Utica, NY as guide in navigation apps). Registration is only $10 and every registered runner receives an awesome finisher medal, and a goody bag! Those who register by Midnight on Sunday, October 11, 2026 also receive a Boolermaker T-shirt, Schedule: 9:00am -> Check-in, activities & warm up 10:00am -> Race heats & distances begin We ask that ALL participants are at the park no later than 9:30am to ensure a smooth start to each event. NOTE: This is a fun run for kids. Costumes are allowed & encouraged, but not required. No capes, please!
