Colorado's FUNNEST Winter Run!!! The Yeti Chase 5K & 10K take place at beautiful Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood. This is the 16th year for the Yeti Chase, and it has sold out well before race day in all previous years. After chasing down the Yeti, runners wander the park's 2,500 acres, known for it's diverse bird and waterfowl population as well as stunning views of the foothills. The 5k follows a mostly flat course with gradual ups and downs, while the 10k is a rolling course with more challenging hills. The Series also includes the Superior Stocking Run 5K in December, and the Ralston Creek Half Marathon & 5k in February. A 5k-5k-5k series and a 5k-10k-half marathon series are offered.
