RunWithRae: A Run for the Runners—and the People Who Think They Aren’t. Join me for #RunWithRae, a low-pressure, beginner-friendly 3.19-mile run along one of Tulsa’s most beautiful routes. Whether you run every day, haven't run in years, or have always said “I hate running,” this is an invitation to come as you are, move at your own pace, and experience running a little differently. We'll start and finish at Daigoro Restaurant (please note: Daigoro is closed on Sundays, so plan your post-race meal accordingly). THE ROUTE Enjoy 3.19 miles of the beautiful River Parks Trails on a paved, beginner-friendly route with just 48 feet of elevation gain. We'll follow the River Parks East Bank Trail, taking in views of the water and downtown Tulsa skyline while moving beneath cottonwoods, sycamores, and other trees. Along the way, we'll pass beneath the walkway that connects to the less-traveled River Parks West Bank Trail system, pass River West Festival Park, and head back toward the start. The route is mapped on Strava and RunGo so you can preview it and follow along with ease. We'll kick things off with a group warm-up, then hit the trail for the run/walk. Afterward, we'll come back together for a cool-down mile and guided stretch. And yes— you can walk. There is no pressure to be the fastest person on the trail, no expectation that you already consider yourself a “runner.” The goal is simply to show up, move your body, enjoy the trail, and leave feeling a little better than when you arrived. Every participant receives: 🧢 An embroidered #RunWithRae hat 🎨 Access to our water bottle decorating station 🎟️ One raffle ticket 🍰 A post-race snack 🏅 A unique finisher prize I've spent much of my life chasing medals—and better mental health. Running has saved my life in more ways than I can count. It has given me somewhere to put the stress, the doubt, the frustration, and the things I didn't always have words for. More importantly, running has given me a way to connect with people. That's why I created #RunWithRae. This isn't about proving that you're a runner. It's about proving to yourself that you can start. And start again. So bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring the person who says they “don't run.” Walk the whole thing if you want. Run every step if that's your thing. Come somewhere in between. Just come run with me. #RunWithRae I’ll get you to the finish line.
