WHERE: Emory Folmar YMCA / soccer fields WHEN: Friday, October 30, 2026 - Be there by 8:30 AM; Run/Walk starts at 9:00 AM WHY: FUN, FELLOWSHIP, and FUNDRAISING Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026 for our LAMP High School's inaugural Maroon and Gold Fun Run!! Our goal is to raise at least $7,500 to help fund student and faculty programs and needed resources for the upcoming school year. With Principal Dr. Harrison's blessing and support, our fun run/walk will take place on one of MPS's asynchronous days - October 30, 2026 - so we hope to have great student and teacher involvement! Individual and team participants will compete to raise money for one-mile laps walked or run (or skipped or jumped), with the winning individuals and teams winning prizes and bragging rights! Costumes encouraged (it is the day before Halloween, after all), and fun is mandatory!! What a great way to build community and support an outstanding public high school in Montgomery!
