Later incarnations of a One Hour Track Run were located in El Dorado and later Camden, Arkansas, and were a Grand Prix staple in the 1990's. After 1998, the One Hour Track Run ceased to be run until the Long Distance Running Committee decided to revive it as part of the 25th Running of the Grand Prix in 2006.
