Join us for the Atlanta 3k Dog Walk and Festival — a dog-focused community event designed to help dogs and their people connect. Taking place on Sunday, May 3 from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM at Shirley Franklin Park, this event brings together Atlanta dog parents, families, runners, walkers, and animal lovers for a morning of movement, bonding, and impact. What Makes This Event Special Along the 3K route, participants will find interactive dog-and-human bonding moments every ½ kilometer, including quick, fun challenges like: A 5-second sit Stay, down, or paw cues Simple connection exercises designed to strengthen focus and teamwork These moments are optional, welcoming, and designed for dogs of all experience levels — making the walk just as enriching as it is fun.
