The Val Nora Disability Awareness 5K * 2K Run - Walk - Roll Sunday, July 12, 2026 9:30 AM Start 2040 Bridge Avenue Evanston, IL (Route follows the North Shore Channel Trail along McCormick Blvd. and the Canal) Stay for the OTR Fest after the race and enjoy food trucks, treats, music, and more! Evanston, IL In support of Disability Awareness Month, helping remove everyday barriers and create opportunities for independence for adults with physical disabilities through Over The Rainbow. In memory of Val Nora, a long time resident of Over The Rainbow, who was always finding ways to support this event, and whose efforts and commitment meant so much to our community. All proceeds support Over The Rainbow and resident services that provide life skills, community programs, and opportunities for independence.
