4th Annual Backpocket Beer Mile – Johnston, IA 2026

Whether you're a seasoned runner looking to test your limits or simply seeking an entertaining way to spend an evening, the 4th Annual Backpocket Beer Mile promises an unforgettable time. The Competitive Backpocket Beer Mile will be held Friday October 9 at 6:00 at the Yard in the Johnston Town Center. Timing will be by All American Timing. We'll also have a Fun Wave at 6:20 that is aimed at our less competitive friends. Relay teams of 2 may register for the Fun Wave, but both participants must register. You can pick up your packet on Friday October 9 from 3:00-5:00 at Backpocket Pin & Pixel (Johnston).
