The Waukee Freedom 5K is a community-wide 4th of July event. All races start and finish at Lutheran Church of Hope Waukee. This is the 43rd annual event and the only fundraiser for Troop 178. Programs within Scouting America emphasize learning, personal growth, respect, and—most importantly—service to others. Proceeds from this event help Scouts reach their Scouting goals and support their service to the people of Waukee and surrounding communities. Troop 178 is proud to be more than 30 Scouts strong this year. Register by June 22nd to receive a great commemorative t-shirt!
