The connection is you.™ Looking for a fun way to give back with your family? Join Autism Society - The Heartland for our Annual 5K/1K Fun Run on April 4, 2026. This event gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 5K or 1K course at Aspiria (former Sprint Campus) . Our 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by our 1K at 9:15a.m. All participants (1K and 5K) are eligible to order a t-shirt separately from the race registration fee. Registered 5K in-person participants receive chip timing. All 5K and 1K race finishers will receive a finishers medal. If you have additional questions about the race, please visit our FAQs page .
